Lampwork beads are made by hand using a torch to heat a rod of glass.  The molten glass is then wound around a thin metal rod to make a basic bead.  Once the base bead has been created, other colors of glass may be added to create intricate surface design.  The final bead is then properly kiln annealed for durability.  Each glass bead I create is made with ample time and attention to creative detail.  My glass beads have all been digitally kiln annealed, thoroughly cleaned and then inspected for structural flaws.   I mainly use Italian glass rods to make my beads. Each rod of glass is hand pulled and each batch has some variation in color so no two lampwork beads will ever be exactly the same.

A lampwork artist for over five years, I've taught classes in my community and am continuously striving to expand my creative horizons in the art world.

Each one of my beads is a small yet unique piece of art. I enjoy custom design so if you want something made especially for you or as a unique gift, contact me at:Jennifer@norlighcreations.com
